Hiking in Sicily

Traveling in Sicily was a great experience, and while I was there in 2001 I managed to take a few interesting photographs while hiking in the hills and ruins of the island. Probably the most exciting aspect of the trip was hiking the hills outside Agrigento and hiking the mountains around Cattolica with Adam. On one peak in Cattolica, we found a small cave toward the summit of a mountain. It was fun, and a spectacular view of the valley below.

During the trip I took many photographs, but there are several that stand out to me more than the rest. I’ve included those here.

The food was amazing in Sicily as well. While I was there I had fresh drinkable yogurt (sadly, it was the first time I had ever tried it). It was tangy and delicious. I hope I get a chance to travel in the Mediterranean again someday!
