A complex and powerful medium of social interaction

Musical interaction is a very important way in which I communicate. As a multi-instrumentalist and traditionalist, I try to involve myself in projects I believe are awesome. I have been a performer and arranger of electronic music for over fifteen years, utilizing various music technologies to create new sounds, record ambient soundscapes, and arrange musical ideas in dynamic ways. I use music technologies to organize a myriad of musical interactions in fun ways. Irish traditional music has been a passion of mine for many years. I played the accordion and bodhrán in an awesome Irish band, Hearthstone until 2016, when two of the band members moved west. Since 2017, Jaime and I formed the duo Hun Har Heste, through which we perform our own arrangements of traditional songs and tunes on whistles, flute, concertina, accordion, bouzouki, and bodhrán. I love connecting with others through the musical medium.

“After silence, that which comes nearest to expressing the inexpressible is music.”
